What if surgeons had X-Ray vision?

There are so many new and interesting inventions in the world today, especially in 2020! One of the coolest inventions that were made in 2020 was called AR-Guided surgery. It all started when Augmedics CEO Nissan Elimelech came up with an idea inspired by superheroes. This begs the question, what if surgeons had x-ray vision?

Several years of R&D have produced the next best invention, a headset that helps turn a patient's CT scan into a 3D visualization that can help guide surgeons through operations. It is made especially for spinal surgeons, as it produces a 3D image of a patient’s spine over their body. It almost allows surgeons to see what’s underneath the patient’s skin without even looking away from the operation table. It was confirmed that in December 2019, the device of AR-Guided surgery is already used at some of the top U.S. hospitals, such as Johns Hopkins and Rush University Medical Center.
